Five Cambridge RedHawks played in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League Top Prospects Games on Wednesday in Ayr.

The Cambridge RedHawks stole the show at the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League's Top Prospects Games on Wednesday in Ayr.

During the second game that ended 7-6 in overtime, a RedHawks player was in on seven of the 13 goals.

Forwards Thomas Chan had two goals and an assist for Team Passero and Cameron Fries potted a pair and assisted on another for Team Prang.

Defenceman Jack D'Arcy added a goal and an assist for Team Prang. His assist came on a third period Fries marker.

In total, five RedHawks took part in the event as forwards Reid Gammage and Jack Martin also suited up in the showcase.

The two games saw the top 16 and 17 year-old Jr. B players put their talent on display for scouts and recruiters at the North Dumfries Community Centre.

Chan, D'Arcy, Fries, Gammage and Martin will rejoin the rest of their Cambridge teammates on Jan. 5 for a game in Stratford against the third-place Warriors at 7:30 p.m.

The team returns home on Jan. 6 to welcome the Ayr Centennials to Galt Arena Gardens.
