Died unexpectedly in London at her home.
Beloved brother of Ron Baker and his bride RoseMarie. Auntie Lolly to Alex Baker (Sena), Eric Baker, Niall Uebele (Megan), Craig Baker (Larysa), Melissa Baker, Annie Clark-Phinney (John). Great aunt to Aspen (Matt), Asia, Landon, Vincent, Dean, Emmett and Joseph. Special friend to Jim McGinley and loved by many other friends. Predeceased by her parents Ethol and William Baker.
Laurel was a long time employee of Bell, long time figure skater and in retirement she was an avid reader, knitter, weaver and maker of very beautiful cards. Laurel made friends easily and was loyal to each of them and was always up for a bit of mischief. True to her nature she died on Robbie Burns Day and would love to be remembered when you next have a wee dram of scotch.
