SEPTEMBER 15, 1968 – AUGUST 13, 2023

Survived by her husband Bruce, son Gareth, daughter Teneal, daughter-in-law Melissa and two beautiful grandkids Gabriella and Bash, four sisters and one brother.

Lyn was born in Krugersdorp South Africa 15th September 1968, completed school in Randfontein SA in 1985 then proceeded to college in 1986 where we met, fell in love, and got married in 1987. Lyn was a devoted life partner mother and homemaker to me and our beautiful family with many happy and fond memories.

Gareth was born in 1987 and Teneal in 1996, whom she loved with all her heart, Lyn was a devoted mother and friend, and was always ready to help in any way possible, Lyn lived for our family.

Gareth and Melissa married and Lyn was so so happy for them. When the grandkids were born Lyn loved every minute of being an ouma (grandma), Lyn’s favorite pastime was knitting and crocheting all sorts for the grandkids and soft toys, blankets, and anything she put her mind to.

She did everything in her power to make everyone she crossed paths with happy and feel like family and some became family. We crossed many difficulties in our life together, with the Lord's Grace and Guidance, and always came out on top.

In November 2020 we relocated to Canada as a family. It was difficult for us all, with this new way of life and country but once we settled in Cambridge, we made new friends and they became family, Lyn and I started to live again and she was happy and content, she loved being in Canada with all our family.

We did a little traveling and then on our last holiday in Punta Cana, Lyn was taken by our Lord as he needed an angel on the 13th August 2023.

Lyn has left a huge wound in our hearts by passing so unexpectedly, she will forevermore live on in our hearts and memories, NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN.

RIP my beautiful wife, partner, mother, Ouma, sister, aunty, and friend to all.

There are so many people I would like to thank for their support and assistance through this very difficult time, but to mention a few – Mel and Calvin, Lee and Megan, Scott and Kayla and all the other friends and family who supported us in all ways it is most appreciated.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St Andrews St., Cambridge on Friday, September 8th at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
