Pearl Frances Calvert, age 94, of Kitchener, Ontario passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. Pearl passed peacefully at Lanark Heights LTC home. She was born in Hong Kong, moved to England where she became a nurse and lived a full and rewarding life, including becoming an owner/operator of a private nursing home. In 2006, after her husband's passing she moved to Canada to be with family. She became an active member of the Knitpickers group at the Allan Reuter Center in Cambridge. Pearl battled with dementia for the last couple of years and recently fell ill with Covid. Pearl was predeceased by her husband George in 2005 and her ashes will be returned to England and placed with him. She leaves behind her daughter Heather Winders (Mark), two granddaughters, Louise Friesen (John), and Kristina Winders, as well as a great granddaughter, Brooke Friesen and numerous step grand and great grandchildren.
