JUNE 11, 1956 – APRIL 6, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Keith (Chico) Gosse of Cambridge, Ontario on April 6, 2023 in his 67th year.

Loving husband of Cathy (Mason) Gosse for 45 years. Loving father of John (Becky), Elizabeth (John), and Kate. Doting grandfather (Poppa) of Johnathan, Jake and Jack. Brother of Gary (Cheryl), Craig (Jan), Susan (Brian) and Lynn. Son-in-law of Ernest Mason and Patricia Mason and brother-in-law of Jim Mason (Anne) and Jennifer Mason Sheppard (Julian). Survived by many loving cousins, nephews and nieces and large group of friends and workmates. He is reunited with his parents Raymond and Stella (Searle), infant brother John Paul, and brother-in-law Brad King.

He was a devoted family man and hard worker his entire life. He started his own business, Gosse-Masonry, which his son, John has been successfully running for many years. Everyone who knew Chico, knew they could rely on him for anything. He was an active member of Road Rajahs Sport Club making many friends through the years. He enjoyed the last few years surrounded by his children and grandchildren, travelling with Cathy and Kate around Canada including Newfoundland, and spending time with his close friends travelling and golfing. He enjoyed his coffee morning meetings with his friends sharing stories and solving world problems.

We are so thankful for Travis, Adam, John, the rest of the crew, the paramedics, doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s Hospital who did everything they could to save him.

Being true to his generous spirit, he has made a donation to Trillium Gifts of Life.

Visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St Andrews Street, Cambridge on Friday, April 14th from 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, April 15th from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, April 15th at 11 a.m. with Deacon Frank Squires officiating. Interment will take place at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. A reception will follow back at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Ronald McDonald Charities House South Central Ontario or Kids Ability as helping children was important to Chico. This may be shared through the funeral home at www.couttsfuneralhome.com.
