AUGUST 26, 1933 – APRIL 23, 2024

With great sadness and sorrow, the family announce her passing on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Park Lane Terrace in Paris, Ontario, surrounded by her family in her 91st year. Beloved wife of 60 years of the late Charles Edwin Groh (2014). Dear mother of Randy (Isobel), Rick (Jo-Anne), Brian (Karen) and Kevin (Kim). Cherished Grandma to Ryan (Vickie), Derek, Kelsey (Steven Curliss), Patrick, Sarah, David (Lisa), Jennifer and Tyler. Proud great-grandmother of Ryan, Heidi, Autumn, Bennett, Aspen, Opal, Elise and Klara. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Agnes was predeceased by her parents Hugh and Sarah McIlvenny, her brothers Robert and Hugh (Doy), and Francis McIlvenny. A proud Irish lass, `Agnes spent many of her years working for Sears in the catalogue department as well as selling Avon all while raising four active boys. Agnes' passions were her family, friends and music. She shared the musical passion with her husband Charlie and over the years made many dear friends with local musicians.

Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, April 26th, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251). The Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held at Trillium United Church, 450 King Street, Cambridge on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Parklawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
