June 12, 1936 – July 10, 2023
With great sadness, we announce that Della passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, in her 88th year.
She is reunited with her beloved husband, Calvin Charles Hamilton (2005). She will be lovingly remembered by her children Lee Hamilton (Glenn Pick) and Nevin Hamilton (Natalia Divsic). Proud and loving Nanny of Alexandra, Theresa, Mathew, Joshua, and Eric. She will also be missed by her sister Barbara and the very many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Della was born in Gaspe, Quebec to a large family. She moved to Montreal as a young adult and most recently to Cambridge, Ontario with her husband in 2000 to be closer to their family; especially the grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Memorial Service to commemorate her life will be held with family.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by her family.
