It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Wayne Patrick Hilker.
Wayne, 71 of Cambridge Ontario passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, surrounded by family at Lisaard House.
Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his wife Susan of 52 years. Forever be missed by his sons Patrick (Michelle) and Michael (Juanita). Cherished grandpa to Marc, Austin, Noah, Alexis, Jesse, and great grandpa to Jaxon. Wayne also leaves behind his sister Frances (predeceased by Albert) and his brother Gary (Joan). Predeceased by his parents Pat and Mable Hilker and his grandson Ryan.
Wayne was an avid lover of cars, especially Corvette's. He really enjoyed going to cruise nights and car shows with his many great friends.
A visitation will be held at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, on Sunday, May 19th from 1:00 to 3:30pm. A private graveside service will be held at Parklawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Lisaard House would be greatly appreciated.
