Passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at St. Luke's Place, Cambridge, on Saturday October 28th 2023 at the age of 93.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret (2019). Loving stepfather of Fiona Goias (Joe), Felicity Dennis (Glen), Nigel Davidson (Edna) and Vivienne Mai (the late Werner). Loving father of Michael Hooker. Cherished grandfather of 10. Treasured great-grandfather of 14. Dear brother of Ruth Hooper, Robert Hooker and Judy Buitenhuis. Predeceased by his parents, Herbert Hooker and Ruth Hooker. He will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.
A visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Wednesday November 8th from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., with a service to follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Donald's Family would like to thank the staff at Saint Luke's Place for all of their excellent care over the past few years. If desired, donations in memory of Donald made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, or St. Luke’s Place, Cambridge, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
