OCTOBER 20, 1930 – MARCH 8, 2023
After living a full and wonderful life, Margaret passed away at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023.
At the age of 92, Margaret was still living independently, driving her car, enjoying lunches with her girlfriends, weekly visits to the beauty salon, spoiling her grandson, and never showing her true age.
Survived by her daughter Brenda Irving (Derek Hooper) and her loving grandson Tommy Hooper. Predeceased by her adoring husband of 55 years Tom (2003), and her parents Percy and Ellen. Margaret lived her entire life in Preston and left a lasting, loving impression on everyone she met.
Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road on Friday, March 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, 132 Argyle Street North on Saturday, March 18th at 11:00 am., followed by a reception at the Galt Country Club, 750 Coronation Blvd. at 12 noon.
