NOVEMBER 6, 1930 – FEBRUARY 24, 2022
Robert Neale James, age 91, of Cambridge, Ontario passed away after a short but courageous battle with bone cancer on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Facility in Kitchener, surrounded by his loving family, Dearly loved husband of 70 years to Ruth (nee Smith) and cherished father to Cheryl Oliva and Brian James. Precious memories of Poppa are left with his grandchildren; Andrew (Cathy), Craig (Kristen), Lauren Ferrez (Matt), Braden (Rita), Amy (Andre) and Courtney (Jamie), and his 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Nancy James (2002), great grand daughter Brooke DaTerra (2008) and son-in-law Dennis Oliva (2018).
Born November 6, 1930 to Ernest and Agnes James of Troy. Predeceased by Harold and Vi, Bruce and Jessie, Ronald (1955), and Ina and Joe (Allan) Morton. Survived by his sister Marilyn (John) Stubbs.
Private cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate Neale's life will take place at a later date. If wished memorial donations to Wesley United Church or the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre are greatly appreciated.
