NOVEMBER 16, 1931 – AUGUST 13, 2023
August 13th, 2023 Eve (Eva) Jewell (nee Talbot), aged 91, of Cape Breton Nova Scotia (Cambridge Ontario) passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Early that morning the clouds lifted and Gods light shone down upon her to call her home.
Eves spirit was infectious and she always had the wonderful ability to bring kindness, love, and joy to everyone she met. She was sassy, quick-witted, and always the life of the party!
Eve will be dearly missed by her children; Verna Hamel (Mike), Bill Jewell (Pam), Kathy Jewell, Brenda Jewell, and Donna Jewell, also her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Jeffery Jewell (Isabella/Cameron), Michele St. Germaine (Nyah/Hunter), Nicole Hamel (Casper/Casey), Sarah Hamel (Rory), and Devon Jewell, as well as her sister Margaret (Sis) Burnell, and many other family and friends. Eve will be welcomed to heaven by her parents, siblings, and other beloved family members.
Please join us on September 1st, 2023 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm for a memorial visitation followed by a celebration of life at 5:00pm at Barthel Funeral Home.
