William Joseph (Jozsef) passed away at home on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the age of 87.
Beloved Husband of the late Johanna Catherina Joseph, loving Father of Frank (Dawn), Michael (Holly), and Bill (Elizabeth). Dear Grandfather/Opa of Jessica Doukas (Terry), Justine Joseph (Jordan Noseworthy), Colton, Sarah (Liam), Victoria, Vander, and Logan. Adored Great-Grandfather of Aella Johanna Doukas and June Lynn Joseph. Sadly missed by sister Mary (Steve) Tavaszi, sister-in-law Theresa Jozsef, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jane and Ennio Micacchi and their children Taylor and Scott.
Predeceased by Andras (Elizabeth) Jozsef, Kathy (Joe) Klein, and Frank Jozsef. William was a loving and caring man who was always smiling. He worked for 33 years at Budd Automotive in Kitchener. He loved to dance with his wife Johanna and always cherished the happy vacations they had in Georgian Bay. Above all, William loved to spend time with his family, and made sure to keep in touch with his extended relatives in Hungary.
A Visitation will be held at T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main St., Cambridge) on Thursday, December 16th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm with vigil prayers to be said at 8:30 pm. Proof of full vaccination, along with government-issued ID, are mandatory to attend the visitation for those age 12 and older. Masks are required. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church (210 South St, Cambridge) on Friday, December 17th at 11:00 am.
Space at the church is limited, so all attendees must sign up for a spot using the sign-up link on the funeral home’s website. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton in loving memory of William’s wife Johanna, or to a charity of your choice.
