Hugh is predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Margaret in 2019 and his son, Raymond in 2021. Hugh is also predeceased by his parents, William and Hannah Keenan, brother William and sisters Eleanor, Margaret, Elizabeth and Agnes.
Hugh will be missed by his grandchildren, Justin (Amanda) Keenan and Danielle (Jason) Sanguiliano of Belleville, Ontario, and great grandsons Dylan and Camden Sanguiliano and Jack and August Keenan. He will also be missed by his daughter-in-law, Carla Keenan and many nieces and nephews.
Hugh Immigrated from Ireland in 1954 and settled his family in Cambridge. He completed his high school education and continued on at the University of Waterloo where he received his designation as a CPA.
Hugh and Margaret were loving parents and grandparents. They loved to travel, especially their trips home to Ireland. Hugh loved to play golf, being a member at Puslinch Golf for many years. Hugh also loved watching sports, gardening, and their many day trips.
Family and friends will be received at the T. Little Funeral home, 223 Main Street, on Tuesday, January 23, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 24 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington are greatly appreciated.
