JULY 7, 1946 – AUGUST 25, 2023
Desirée Lew departed this world peacefully in her sleep on August 25, 2023 having just celebrated her 77th birthday. She is survived by her husband Peter and two children, Karen and Derek, daughter-in-law Sarah, grandson Matthew, and her elder sister Margaret, in addition to her numerous nieces and nephews.
Desirée was a devout Catholic and active volunteer, who contributed much of her time to the Cambridge Vineyard Christian Fellowship, frequently volunteering her time to the church. Desirée cherished the time she spent with friends and family, and the friendships that were built through her association with the Fellowship.
Though Desirée's physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to live on through the memories, stories, and love she shared with us all. May she rest in eternal peace.
The memorial service to celebrate Desirée’s life will be held on September 7, 2023 at 11:00AM at Saint Ambrose Church. The service will be preceded by a viewing on September 6 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM at T.Little Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, a cause that has assisted Desirée during her illnesses.
