It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Edward with his family by his side at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday December 12, 2023.
Edward is the loving son to Linda and the late Ed Lynch. He is a dear brother of Kenneth and his wife Tracy, and predeceased by his infant sister. He is an adored uncle to Sarah, Lysander, Milo, Kenny and Adrian. Treasured nephew of the Clarke, Johson and Lynch families. He will be greatly missed by cousins and extended family. Edward was considered a best friend to many, and will be deeply missed by his close family friends Myrtle Cole, John Everett and Carla Young.
Edward was a proud member of the Cambridge Capables for many years, and met with many people who he made connections with for a lifetime. Edward was also involved in Wheelchair Line Dancing and would travel for competitions to showcase his skills. If you knew Edward, you knew that he was a big Elvis Presley fan, and would always love a Tim Horton’s coffee!
The family would like to sincerely thank the ICU staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care of Edward and his family. Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
As per Edward’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services.
