APRIL 11, 1961 – APRIL 2, 2023
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our precious sister-in-law and aunt, Bonnie Mardling of Guelph, Ontario, on April 2, 2023, at the age of 61.
Predeceased by her parents Harry and May (Mae) Mardling and her brother David Mardling. Bonnie will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Betty Mardling, nieces Jacqueline (Cameron) McConnell, Kimberley (Dane) Bannister, and great nephews and great nieces Luke and Katie McConnell, Noah and Ash Bannister.
She will also be missed by her longtime friend Fiona Hendry of Guelph.
Bonnie led a happy and active life. She loved music, a good party, singing hymns at church, a bottle of Labatt’s Blue, a slice of lemon pie. She swam during her school years and bowled for many years as an adult. She was a proud retiree of ARC Industries in Guelph. She, along with longtime pals and roommates Fiona Hendry and Kaye Garton (passed 2022), had many fun times and vacations over the years.
Special thanks to the many staff of Community Living Guelph Wellington who supported Bonnie throughout her life and to the staff of Barnswallow Place in Elmira for their kindness and care throughout the last few months.
A small graveside service will take place Wednesday, April 12th at Parklawn Cemetery in Cambridge.
