JUNE 2, 1925 – JANUARY 19, 2022
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ethel in the early hours of January 19, 2022. Ethel was the youngest of 9 children to Alice Bracegirdle and George Slater and was predeceased by two loving husbands, Stanley Davies and later, George Oliver. She is survived by her son Glynn (Bernadette), daughter Joyce, and three grandchildren, Lisa (John), James (Michelle) and Martin (Dionne). Ethel lived a very full and energetic 96 years and was a vital and vibrant part of our family. She will be greatly missed by all of us and any who knew her. Thank you to all the PSWs and health care professionals that helped us keep our promise to Ethel to be at home with us. A private interment and celebration of Ethel's remarkable spirit will be arranged by the family in June. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Alzheimer's Society or Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
