AUGUST 13, 1936 – FEBRUARY 20, 2022

Donald Lorne St. Clair passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the age of 85.

Don served in the Canadian Military for 9 years, and was deployed to both Germany and the Congo. He received many awards for his dedicated service, as well as a Diamond Pendant for the large number of personal donations he made to the Red Cross. After his retirement from the military, Don worked many years in the construction trade and joined the Hillside Lake Park Family Campground, where he belonged for 40 years.

He became an avid horseshoe player and also enjoyed darts, pool, bowling, golfing, fishing, and shuffleboard. Don was a loving, strong, and loyal man who would give you the shirt off his back, hence the reason he was always seen shirtless with a beer in hand! Don will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 45 years Darlene Dyer, sister Barbara, children Patricia Hagen (James), Wanda St. Clair, Allan St. Clair (Lesli), Grace Felix (Morris), Tammy Dyer, and Dawn Rodrigues (Jason), grandchildren Jamie, Jennifer, Jasmine, Natasha, Danielle, Erin, Abby, Matthew, Amanda, Samantha, Philip, Chelsi, Breanna, Emalee, and Anngelia, great-grandchildren Hailey, Caitlin, Lena, Zachary, Aidan, Jack, Wyatt, Violet, Dominic, Nicholas, Tyson, and Alison, great-great-grandchildren Isabella, Alice, and Curtis, many more extended family members and friends, and his best friend Snowball the Cat.

Don was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Irene St. Clair, and his brothers Robert Sneath and Leonard Sneath. Cremation has taken place and a Visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home (96 St. Andrews St, Cambridge) on Saturday, February 26th from 1pm – 3pm. The urn committal service will be Monday, February 28th at Memory Gardens Cemetery (2723 Victoria St N, Breslau) at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Red Cross or Freeport Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
