With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Robert Polydore Stanley passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9th, 2023 at the age of 91.
Robert will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children; Rick and Pam (Don), grandchildren Joshua, Crystal, Melissa, and Craig (Nickey), and good friend Mike Porter. Survived by his sister Pauline Stanley, Robert is predeceased by his beloved wife Rosalie (2018), his parents Laurison and Esther and brothers William, Sidney and Keith. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge) on Tuesday March 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 15th at 9:30 am at St. Clement's Catholic Church (745 Duke St., Cambridge), with interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
