Bruce Tawse, 84 of Kitchener passed away suddenly on May 5th after a brief illness.
Bruce was born on June 9th, 1939 to Norman and Gladys Tawse in Galt, Ontario. He was predeceased by his wife Cecile in 2020 after 59 years of marriage. He is survived by his son Dave (Janet), his daughter Cathy (Dale), grand daughters Nikki (Ryan) and Stephanie (Christian), great grand daughter Harper and his sister Marilyn (Paul).
Bruce was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to everyone. He was very active in the community in his younger days. He was the convenor and bowling coach for the YBC for 25 years and a minor softball coach for almost 30 years. Bruce was an amateur radio operator and an avid metal detector. He also enjoyed fishing and reading in his spare time.
A visitation for Bruce will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at T. Little Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge, ON N1R1X2. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at T. Little Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
