Jean Marie White of 83 years passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 in Cambridge, Ontario.

Jean, a beloved soul who touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully due to complications from dementia. Throughout her life, Jean was known for her kindness, grace, and unwavering strength in the face of adversity. Despite the challenges brought on by dementia, her spirit remained resilient, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. As dementia gradually took its toll, Jean faced each day with courage and dignity, supported by the unwavering love and devotion of her family and friends.

Her journey was marked by moments of joy, laughter, and cherished memories, which will be treasured by all who had the privilege of sharing her life. Born in Webbwood, Ontario, Jean and her husband John "Charlie" were married on January 30, 1960 and moved from Chapleau to Montreal and over the years with a growing family resided in North Bay, Englehart, Sudbury, Espanola, and finally settling in Thunder Bay. Jean looked forward to her annual trips with her husband John "Charlie". She loved to be busy volunteering at St. Pauls's Anglican Church in Thunder Bay with the many friends she made while doing so. She also had many hobbies such as paper tolling, quilting, making handbags, renovating and restoring, crocheting, knitting and sewing.
