It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marion Willis in her 95th year.

Marion is predeceased by her beloved husband Melvin Willis. Loving mother to Ruth (Jamie) Rivers, David (Michele) Willis, and Alan (Cindy) Willis. Cherished grandmother to Christopher (Cheryl) Rivers, Kimberly Moore (Mark), Vicki (Mike) Gammage, Felicia Dal Bello-Willis (Joel), Adam (Megan) Schmidt, Taylor (Liam) O’Donnell, and Kaitlyn Willis (Sam). Great-grandmother to Cara, Chayla, Chase, Karliah, Declan, Timothy, Joella, Keyden, Isla, Gianna, Henry, Charlie, Theodore and a much anticipated great-grandson due any day. She is survived by her twin sister Ellen (Woolie) Wooldridge. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Louisa Wooldridge and her siblings Margaret, Clarence and Ross.

Marion will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, her love of life and her generous heart. She started her working career as a teacher spreading knowledge to her students from grades 1 to 5. She became a nurse because of her passion for people and her readiness to help someone in need. She graduated from the Class of 1955. She was a committed nurse at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. After she retired, she continued to be a member of the Alumnae Association of PEI Hospital School of Nursing until her passing. During her nursing career Marion and her late husband Melvin founded Ayr Coach Lines. Marion loved sports, horse racing, bowling, curling, hockey, baseball and definitely enjoyed the odd card game. Marion will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her!
