MARCH 6, 1954 – APRIL 14, 2023
With great sadness, his family announces that John passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the age of 69.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Judy (Gilbert) Howe, Cathy (Paul) Loker, Susan (Wayne) Hilker, Joanne Brown, and Barb (Dale) Lonsbury. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
John is now reunited with his parents Joseph and Catherine Yust, nephew Adam Lonsbury (1992), and his beloved pets Abby, Buck, and Ernie.
John loved woodworking, painting, birdwatching, fishing, and all animals, especially dogs.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and Memorial Visitation will be held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge and District Humane Society would be appreciated by his family.
