Arrest made in connection with break and enters at local businesses

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Break, Enter and Vehicle Theft team have arrested a male in connection to break and enters at commercial businesses.

On July 7, 2021, a 35-year-old Cambridge male was arrested and charged with two counts of break, enter and commit an indictable offence and breach release order.

The break and enters occurred at two businesses between July 2 to July 6, 2021, in Cambridge.

Both incidents focused on rooftop entries targeting cash drawers inside the businesses. 

The male is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 23, 2021.
