Cambridge man arrested after rocks, concrete thrown at vehicles

Waterloo Regional Police say they have arrested a Cambridge man after receiving multiple reports of damage to vehicles in Kitchener this morning.

Police say at around 8:50 a.m., they received multiple reports of a man damaging vehicles in parking lots in the area of the Boardwalk and Ira Needles Boulevard.

"The male was seen throwing rocks and pieces of concrete at vehicles," police said in a news release. 

Several vehicles sustained major damage as a result of the incident, according to police.

Police located the man at a nearby business. A 26-year-old male has been charged with seven counts of mischief under $5,000 and held for a bail hearing.
