Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate an attempt robbery in Cambridge.

On April 9, 2024, at approximately 11:10 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a store in the area of St. Andrews Street and Southwood Drive.

An unknown male suspect entered the store and passed a note to an employee. The suspect then exited the store and was last seen running towards Grand Ridge Drive.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 25 years, with facial hair.

Police are looking to identify and speak to this individual in connection to this incident.

There were no physical injuries reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
