The Waterloo Regional Police Service traffic unit has laid charges on a driver in the city for several violations.
While inspecting commercial vehicles earlier today, the WRPS pulled over a pickup truck pulling a tractor on a trailer.
It was found to be almost 6,000 kilograms overweight, while also having defective brakes on the truck and trailer. The load was not secured properly and emissions violations were found.
In addition to the charges, the vehicle was put out of service.
