Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a single motor vehicle collision in the Hespeler area of Cambridge.
On Sept. 15, 2022, at approximately 9:40 a.m., emergency services responded to Townline Road near Jamieson Parkway for a report of a single motor vehicle collision.
A vehicle was travelling north on Townline Road when it crossed into the southbound lane and off the roadway, where it collided with a hydro pole.
The driver, a 69-year-old Cambridge female, was transported by air ambulance to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
Townline Road remained closed for several hours for the investigation and hydro pole replacement.
The investigation remains ongoing by members of our Traffic Services Unit.
