Man ejected from motorcycle suffered serious injuries

Main Street was closed east of Franklin Boulevard for a collision investigation this morning.

A 27-year-old man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries after he was thrown from his motorcycle after colliding with a car near the eastern outskirts of the city Tuesday morning. 

Waterloo regional police and paramedics responded to the crash around 10 a.m, after a motorcycle and a vehicle collided on Main Street between Nottinghill Drive and Robinson Road. 

The motorcycle driver was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no other reported physical injuries. 

Main Street was closed between Nottinghill Drive and Robinson Road for approximately two hours.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
