On Saturday, May 22, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of McKay Street in Cambridge for reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, police located a male who had suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe this was a targeted incident and there is no public safety concern.

One male was seen fleeing the area. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
