Parolee back in prison after drugs found in car: OPP

A driver out on parole is back in prison after a vehicle with an expired permit was stopped by Cambridge OPP.

Police said during the traffic stop, officers determined the driver was suspended.

Investigation of the vehicle uncovered cocaine, meth, fentanyl and cash, police said.

The 27-year-old driver was charged with drug trafficking offences and was returned to prison, according to a Tweet from the OPP Highway Safety Division.

Police posted an image of drugs, paper currency and several cellphones seized during the arrest.
