Pellet gun seized after police say man pointed it at passing car

A 34-year-old man is facing weapons charges after police say he was seen pointing a firearm at a passing driver.

Waterloo regional police arrested the man after responding to the area of Franklin Boulevard and Hilltop Drive around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police determined the firearm was a pellet gun.

The man is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
