Police investigating convenience store robbery in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery at a business in Cambridge.

Police said on Saturday, April 1 at around 5 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at a store in the area of Jamieson Parkway and Townline Road.

Through investigation, police learned two unknown males entered the store, brandished knives, and stole merchandise and personal property from a store employee.

The thieves fled the area on foot. 

The employee did not sustain any physical injuries, police said in a news release.

Both suspects were described as white males, approximately 5’8” tall, with thin builds, wearing black clothing and black masks.

The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS' Robbery Team.
