Police are asking the public for help identifying this suspect in a Nov. 10 break in to a Preston home.

Waterloo Regional Police Service says its Break, Enter and Vehicle Theft Team is investigating a residential break and enter in Cambridge and have released still images from a surveillance video with an appeal to the public to help identify the suspect.

On November 10, 2022, a homeowner returned to their home in the area of Knotty Pine Avenue and Linden Drive and located an unknown male inside their residence.

The male damaged a window to exit the residence and fled the area. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’5”, with a thin build.

There were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Investigators would like to identify and speak with the individual pictured below in connection to this incident and are asking residents in the Knotty Pine Avenue, Linden Drive and Weatherall Avenue areas to check their security cameras for any suspicious persons between the hours of 1 a.m. and 2 a.m.
