Police say motorcycle damaged in 'hate-motivated' incident

Parked bike was knocked over while parked and covered with hate-motivated writing, police say

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating what they have described as a hate-motivated incident in Cambridge.

On Nov. 3 at around 6:20 p.m., a motorcyclist parked their bike in a parking lot on George Street North near Blair Road.

The person left the area and upon returning found the motorcycle knocked over and damaged, police said in a news release.

Damage to the motorcycle included hate-motivated writing, police allege.

Police said the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 519-570-9777.
