Police are looking to identify and speak to this individual in connection to a hate-motivated assault in Waterloo.

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a hate-motivated assault that occurred in Waterloo.

On January 13, 2024, at approximately 11:25 p.m., police responded to reports of a physical altercation in the area of King Street North and Princess Street East.

The victim was assaulted by an unknown male and sustained non-life-threatening physical injuries as a result of the incident.

Police are looking to identify and speak to the individual pictured below in connection to this incident.

 

The investigation remains ongoing.
