Police seek suspect vehicle in Kitchener hit and run

Police want to identify the vehicle captured in these surveillance images near the seen of a hit-and-run collision in Kitchener last Friday.

Police want help identifying a suspect vehicle in connection to a hit-and-run collision that sent a 31-year-old Kitchener man to an out of region hospital with serious injuries.

The accident happened just before midnight last Friday at the intersection of Pioneer Drive and Homer Watson Boulevard in Kitchener. 

Waterloo Regional Police Service got the call around 12 a.m. Nov. 4. The driver of the vehicle failed to remain on scene.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2015 to 2023 Dodge Charger, 4 door, grey/silver in colour, alloy wheels and a sunroof.

The suspect vehicle may have damage to the front driver-side bumper, fender, and possibly the hood.

The roads in the area were closed for several hours while police investigated.

WRPS’ Remote Piloted Vehicle (RPV) was deployed to assist in the investigation and the investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit.
