Police seized drugs, cash and counterfeit money following the execution of a search warrant in Cambridge.

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Drugs and Firearms Unit seize drugs and cash in Cambridge.

On February 16, 2024, officers completed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Townline Road and Jamieson Parkway.

During the investigation, investigators located and seized suspected cocaine, morphine, and alprazolam. Cash and counterfeit currency were also seized.

As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old Cambridge male was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (three counts)
  • Possession of counterfeit currency

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
