Teen from Cambridge charged with stunt driving on Highway 400

18-year-old also nets 30-day driver's licence suspension, 14-day vehicle impoundment

Police say a teenager from Cambridge faces charges after a radar gun recorded a vehicle travelling 163km/h on Highway 400.

The 18-year-old was stopped by the Ontario Provincial Police highway safety division.

Police photos from the scene on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) show a white Toyota Verza being hauled away by a tow truck.

The teen faces a stunt driving charge, as well as a 30-day driver's licence suspension and 14-day vehicle impoundment, according to police.
