Thieves use pickup to force way into Cambridge pharmacy, steal ATM

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a break and enter at a pharmacy in Cambridge.

On Dec. 13, at around 6:20 a.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress in the area of St. Andrew’s Street.

Through the initial investigation, police determined suspects used a white Ford pickup to force entry into the business.

The suspects stole an automated teller machine (ATM) from within the business. The suspects then fled the area in a white Ford pickup with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The ATM was recovered in the area of Alps Road and Spragues Road.

The investigation is ongoing by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Break, Enter and Vehicle Theft Team.
