Three injured in Can-Amera Parkway collision

Both involved drivers were transported to a local hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services. The other involved person, a passenger, was transported by air ambulance to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries, police say

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a motor vehicle collision in Cambridge.

On Feb. 20, 2023, at approximately 1:40 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a Subaru Crosstrek and a Honda CR-V at the intersection of Can-Amera Parkway and Burnett Avenue.

Both involved drivers were transported to a local hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services. The other involved person, a passenger, was transported by air ambulance to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

Area roadways were closed for several hours as a part of the investigation and have since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit and charges are anticipated.
