Two men sprayed with noxious substance near Sportsworld Drive

Two male victims suffered minor injuries after they were sprayed with a noxious substance in a parking lot near Sportsworld Drive in Kitchener early this morning.

Waterloo regional police say they are looking for a dark-coloured, older model SUV, similar to a Ford Explorer or Expedition that fled the scene.

Police were called to the report of a disturbance in the parking lot near Sportsworld Drive and King Street East around 12:50 this morning.

Upon arrival, police located two male victims who had been sprayed with a noxious substance. Both males sustained minor physical injuries and were treated at the scene by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services. 

The suspects involved in this incident fled in the vehicle prior to police arrival. 

The investigation is ongoing by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit.
