Canada’s Drag Race contestant and Cambridge native Miss Moço is bringing her show to the city in a night full of drag, death drops and fun.

Miss Moço is a Cambridge born drag queen who moved to Toronto early in her career. Having produced and created a yearly drag pageant in Portugal, Miss Drag Lisboa, she is back in town on Feb. 25 to host her show at Evo Kitchen and Bar at 31 Water St. S.

"Join us for a night of drag at Evo Kitchen & Bar. An evening with all the hits and singalongs that you love. We'll have you laughing all night long when that mic is in hand," read the events page.

Moço is self described as the “International Wig Snatching Drag Queen serving legs and face for days," and will be other Canadian queens, Gei Ping Hohl (Cambridge), Wilma Checklear (Toronto) and Ultra Violet (Guelph). She is looking to expand on the Cambridge drag scene and make this a recurring show with different guests.

"Being back in Cambridge to perform is a surreal feeling. I moved away 18 years ago to chase my dreams of being an artist, but there is something to be said about the support you feel from your hometown when you return," said Moço. "Cambridge is constantly expanding and I am so happy to be able to bring my drag home to contribute to that growth."

Moço most recently competed on the newest season of the Ru Paul’s Drag Race spin off, Canada’s Drag Race. Her time on the show was cut short on the second episode when she lost to Toronto queen and season three runner-up Jada Shada Hudson.

The show runs from 7:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. with the queens being available for meet and greets before the show.
