Lights and holiday themed displays lined the streets of Galt for Phil Kline's Unsilent Night walk.

Summer is still a month away but the City of Cambridge is already looking forward to winter as it prepares for Winterfest.

The city is looking for local artists to take part in the Winterfest kick-off event, Phil Kline’s Unsilent Night and is putting out a call for submissions to artists who have ideas for installations that showcase light, art and technology in an engaging way.

Selected applicants will be part of the November 24, event in downtown Cambridge.

Attracting approximately 8,000 people each year, this one-night walking event transforms Galt’s core into a magical, musical journey of illuminated art experiences.

Proposals will be accepted until Friday, September 15, 2023 by completing the call for submissions form
