Pandemic style fun is coming to a Cambridge community next week.

The Alison Neighbourhood is getting ready to celebrate Neighbourhood Day on June 12 with a virtual bike rodeo and take-home kits available for pick up from St. Anne School.

Between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. residents of the East Galt neighbourhood can head to 127 Elgin Street North to pick up a Bike Rodeo Kit, which includes a video with bike safety tips.

Kids who show up on their bikes will get something extra.

Two food trucks will be on site during the pick-up times.

The day will include the neighbourhood association’s community garden kick-off, which invites residents to paint a rock for the garden or sign their name on the community garden sign.

Neighbours can also pick up a tie-dying kit and a make your own popsicle kit.

A freezie truck will be on site to hand out freezies.

Everyone is reminded that masks are recommended where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
