Kin Carnival returns to Riverside Park

Largest fundraiser organized by the Kin Club of Cambridge raises funds to help support the community and surrounding areas

The Kin Carnival will run from May 26 – 29th at Riverside Park in Cambridge.

The Kin Carnival is back this spring.

The annual event will run from May 26 to 29 at Riverside Park in Cambridge.

The Kin Carnival is the largest fundraiser organized by the Kin Club of Cambridge that raises funds to help support the Cambridge community and surrounding areas.

Everyone is invited to enjoy one of the first big events this spring with:

  • Amusement rides provided & operated by Robertson Amusements
  • Live music & entertainment
  • Food Trucks
  • Carnival games
  • Free parking
  • Beer tent open Friday & Saturday

Admission and parking are free.

Originally called the Preston Kinsmen Carnival, the event was founded by the Preston Kinsmen Club in 1949.  

Funds raised over the years from the Kin Carnival have supported the community of Cambridge in various ares including the Kinsmen Daycare, Riverside Park Grandstands, Kinsmen Riverside Park Pool, Cambridge Kips building, and Preston Arena.

The Kin Club of Cambridge supports local organizations such as the local Food Bank, Cambridge Humane Society, Heart & Stroke, Bullying Canada, Salvation Army, Langs, Community Living Cambridge, the Canadian Diabetes Association, Cambridge Memorial Hospital, KidsAbility, and the Humane Society.

Kin Carnival ticket sales for rides are available online until May 25th, at 6 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online at $40 for 35 ride tickets, plus an online service fee of $3.45.

Families can save $20 by getting ride tickets early, available at Giant Tiger stores in Cambridge or online at EventBrite.ca
