The region is reminding residents that this is the last week for Christmas tree pickup on their designated garbage day.
The holidays are over and as Christmas trees hit the curb, this will be the last time the region will pick them up. They are also allowing residents to double the normal amount of bags they take to the curb.
This means a single household can put out up to six bags.
Ij"Remember to remove lights, decorations, ornaments and the stand. Do not bag trees; leave them open and in an accessible spot," wrote the region in a tweet.
The region recommends having all waste at the side of the cub by 7 a.m. to avoid missing their trucks. More information can be found on the region's website regarding Christmas trees and where to find your designated pick-up day.
