The Bridges is hoping the community can help them restock their supply of household items.

The success of placing individuals in more stable housing comes at a cost for the Cambridge Shelter Corp.

After staff helped find affordable housing for six people this month, they're now in need of household items to restock their supply.

Items such as pots and pans, baking sheets, microwaves, coffee makers and brushes are needed.

Only new or unused bedding, pillows and blankets can be accepted.

The shelter still has more than 75 people looking for accommodations.

Opened in 2005, The Bridges offers a year-round emergency shelter and supportive housing units to those experiencing homelessness.

It provides a variety of additional services, including on-site medical and mental health support, haircuts, social and recreational programs and connections to employment with the help of other community organizations.
