A transport accident closed Highway 17 in both directions for most of this morning.
It happened shortly before 5:30 a.m.
Nipissing West OPP, Greater Sudbury Fire Service and Manitoulin-Sudbury Paramedic Services responded to a single vehicle accident on Highway 17, near Sleepy Hollow Road, in Greater Sudbury.
No injuries were reported when a transport jackknifed and then rolled over into the ditch blocking both lanes.
The driver had to be extracted from the vehicle and was assessed by Emergency Medical Services.
The highway was closed in both directions for just over four hours during the investigation and the removal of the vehicle.
Meanwhile Ontario 511 reports that Highway 11 southbound is down to one lane near Novar, just north of Huntsville.
